Webinar: Germany & EU Customs Regulations

Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP) and the Government of Saskatchewan’s International Trade Office in Germany invite you to a webinar designed to equip your exporting team with the critical knowledge and tools to avoid shipping issues in Germany and the surrounding countries. Attendees will be armed with information on regional differences in Germany, avoiding documentation errors, logistics considerations and other related topics.

Dr. Achim Kampf 

Dr Achim Kampf is a fully qualified lawyer and heads the customs division at GTAI. Previously, he was a consultant in the area of foreign commercial law at the Federal Foreign Trade Information Office and its successor organization, GTAI. He began his career in the German Chambers of Industry and Trade (IHK) network, where, after completing a trainee program, he worked in various functions at the IHK Rhein-Neckar in Mannheim. In total, he has over 29 years of experience in trade and economic development.

Heiko Steinacher

A trained economist, Heiko Steinacher has been reporting for Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) out of Toronto since October 2023 on current macroeconomic trends and developments in special industries. In Canada, he also supports GTAI’s investor recruitment. Previously, Heiko reported for GTAI from San Francisco, USA, with a focus on fast-growing and disruptive companies, and earlier in Stockholm, Sweden, and Warsaw, Poland. While studying in Mainz and Glasgow in the late 1990s (Diplom, M.A. Soc.Sc. respectively), he focused mostly on foreign trade and international economic relations.
