Global Trade Credit (GTC) is a privately owned Specialty Insurance Firm.

GTC represents the entire credit insurance market of approx. 12 insurers, including these four direct insurers; Export Development Canada (EDC), Allianz Trade (formerly Euler Hermes Canada), Coface, and Atradius Canada.

Why should you have a policy

  • It provides AA – AAA rated 3rd party securitization and replaces the need for General Security Agreements (GSA’s) at your financial institution
  • It allows you to be more competitive by extending terms of sale to get a new customer or contract
  • It enhances your borrowing base with more access to capital having additional 3rd party security in place
  • It gives you online access to international credit reporting agencies to determine credit worthiness of existing and new customers all the while mitigating any sales loses

Who should connect with GTC

  • Companies of all sizes
  • Businesses selling domestically or exporting internationally on “open account” terms of sale (i.e., net 30, 60, 90, 120, 720 days)
  • Those looking for benefits in the areas of corporate governance, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, as well as credit and collections
  • Businesses looking for expert advise on their current insurance policies to maximize their coverage while keeping costs competitive – GTC will be your advocate with your insurer.
  • Anyone wanting to get ahead of your competition and grow your business

Why connect with GTC
GTC’s principal, Graham MacLachlan, is proudly from Eyebrow, SK. His passion for our province led him to become a shareholder in the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club, and GTC has been a STEP member for over a decade!

Graham also serves on the Board of Directors for the Receivables Insurance Association of Canada (RIAC). Furthermore, he is a former Commercial Banker, therefore, he understands how a Credit Insurance policy can assist with your organizations financial services needs.

If you are unaware of trade credit/ credit/ or accounts receivable insurance, connect with GTC and they’ll tell you all about “the best kept secret in business!”
