WRT Equipment Ltd. has been serving the road and mining industries since 1975. X-Steam-inator Agriculture Products (XAP) located at Chaplin, Saskatchewan has developed the X-Steam-inator, a sprayer that uses high temperature steam for non-selective weed control. The company's patented process generates high temperature steam in an energy efficient manner with the ability to precisely control steam temperature, pressure and saturation. XAP has a memorandum of understanding with Honey Bee Manufacturing to build the units. Pre-seed weed control and weed control between crop rows are the first applications being targeted. The technology will have applications for agriculture worldwide.
Products and services include the X-Steam-inator. Through a patented process, the X-Steam-inator uses electricity to generate high temperature steam on demand in an energy efficient manner. With boom widths matched to the required electrical output, the X-Steam-inator can be used to control weed growth prior to seeding. The boom can also be configured to control weeds between crop rows. High temperature steam provides an effective alternative to weed control with tillage or with herbicides such as glyphosate. With the X-Steam-inator, weed growth can be accomplished in a manner that is both environmentally sustainable and cost effective.

XPT Grain Inc. is a Saskatchewan based special crops exporter. The company purchases and delivers Western Canadian produced grain to domestic and export markets, mainly China. The grains handled are all types of conventional and organic peas, flax, beans and lentils. XPT Grain has established relationships with growers and processors, providing another market outlet and source of information for Saskatchewan farmers.

The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve the business community of Yorkton. Yorkton is a growing, dynamic city! Yorkton's 2022 population, as listed in the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health's statistics was 19,123. Main industries in the area include agriculture, potash mining, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, tourism and health services. Yorkton is the largest city on the Yellowhead Highway (Hwy 16) between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The trading area around Yorkton encompasses east central Saskatchewan and western Manitoba with a population of 150,000 making it the third largest trading area in the province. While the Chamber is one of the oldest entities in the City, having been established in 1898, it's a dynamic organization which represents the interests of the business community. A 16 member elected Board of Directors strive to share ideas, raise issues and advance the interests of the membership.
Products and services include advocacy on behalf of members, engagement with City Council to discuss issues and opportunities for the business community, and contact with the provincial and federal governments about their respective policies and the impact they have on Yorkton and area businesses.
