They are supplier of chickpeas, green lentils, red lentils, split red lentils, football red lentils, canary seeds, beans, peas, etc. Their processing plant is located in Verwood, SK, and corporate office is located in Mississauga, ON. Their processing plant is capable of “Drying,” “Gluten Free,” “Sizing,” “Color Sorting,” and Bagging. The plant is situated on a rail-line having a rail spur capable of loading 15 to 30 railcars a week (5,400 tons – 10,800 tons per month). They have options to load railcars, intermodals, and containers in either bulk or bagged (25kg, 50kg, 01-ton tote). In addition to agricultural fence posts, VWP is the second largest supplier of penta-treated utility poles to Saskatchewan's electrical utility corporation (SaskPower) and is the exclusive supplier of bridge piles, bridge timbers to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure.
