They use two sets of 18” on demand discs in front of a five-bar heavy harrow, allowing the unit to size straw while spreading it evenly across the field. Spraytest Controls Inc. is a family owned business and manufacturer of wireless remote controls for agricultural use with established dealers across Canada and into the USA. They developed the Spraytest wireless remote system on their farm to make sprayer servicing quicker, easier and safer. Spraytest Controls Inc. took the idea to Western Canada Farm Progress Show in Regina, SK from June 19-21, 2002 and the idea received a positive response from the agricultural community. Stewart Steel Inc. is a manufacturer of agriculture equipment and waste management products. As well, they specialize in industrial and oilfield fabrication. Wilger Industries is a major manufacturer of agricultural spray nozzles, nozzle bodies, and other spraying and liquid fertilizer application components. Wilger Industries Ltd. manufactures its products in Saskatoon, and with sister company in USA (Wilger Inc.) and newly established operation in Argentina (Wilger Argentina), sells its products around the world. Wilger makes spray nozzles (COMBO-JET brand) for applicators who care how they spray, specializing and pairing with PWM spray systems since 1999. Wilger makes nozzle bodies and components (COMBO-RATE, COMBO-JET, etc.) that address and support best practises being developed in the crop protection industry. Wilger makes flow monitoring and liquid fertilizer metering components that are critical to maintaining effective and consistent application. More recently, Wilger has developed an electronic flow monitoring system and components that are to be integrated into OEM equipment or system manufacturer systems to provide consistent and quality components to highlight those systems they are integrated into. Wilger sells to sprayer and liquid fertilizer application equipment manufacturers, as well as wholesale distributors of agricultural application parts.

X-Steam-inator Agriculture Products (XAP) located at Chaplin, Saskatchewan has developed the X-Steam-inator, a sprayer that uses high temperature steam for non-selective weed control. The company's patented process generates high temperature steam in an energy efficient manner with the ability to precisely control steam temperature, pressure and saturation. XAP has a memorandum of understanding with Honey Bee Manufacturing to build the units. Pre-seed weed control and weed control between crop rows are the first applications being targeted. The technology will have applications for agriculture worldwide.
