Trade Mission: Agriculture Commodities Trade Mission to North Africa
Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP) is pleased to invite you to participate in an agriculture commodities trade mission to Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia being held January 25-31, 2025, in Algiers, Algeria, Casablanca, Morocco and Tunis, Tunisia.
Morocco and Algeria are Saskatchewan’s largest markets for agriculture commodities and are large buyers of lentils, peas, wheat, and durum. Tunisia is an emerging market and the visit there will have an exploratory angle to help raise the profile of the Saskatchewan ag sector in that market. Tunisia currently imports wheat and there are several opportunities to still be unlocked. Attached you will find some market research on the Tunisian agri-food market.
STEP is partnering with the Trade Commissioner Service and local service providers in each country. The mission will consist of targeted B2B meetings with medium and large buyers and site tours in each country.
To participate in this mission (STEP Members only) please complete the Mission Registration Form and send to kjanhunen@sasktrade.sk.ca by November 1, 2024.
