Regina, Saskatchewan — STEP Announces Finalists for 2024 STEP Export Award
Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) is pleased to announce three finalists for the 2024 STEP Export Award. The winner of the Award will be unveiled at the STEP Annual General Meeting and Award Reception on October 10, 2024 in Saskatoon.
The STEP Export Award, sponsored by Export Development Canada (EDC), recognizes STEP members for their achievements and success in export markets around the world. The 2024 finalists are:
- Naturally Amped, Saskatoon, SK
- Redekop Manufacturing, Saskatoon, SK
- Wendell Estate Honey, MacNutt, SK
Minister of Trade and Export Development Jeremy Harrison noted that these businesses represent the broad diversity of Saskatchewan industry. “Saskatchewan’s economy is growing across multiple sectors, and we see a range of those being celebrated in this year’s awards,” Minister Harrison said. “Local businesses are driving our economic growth, and their success means more jobs and opportunities are being created in our communities. I congratulate this year’s nominees on their hard work and dedication to Saskatchewan. We’ve surpassed $100 billion in exports over the last two years, and that is only possible due to the many businesses and organizations who choose to operate throughout the province.”
STEP President and CEO, Chris Dekker, noted that the annual STEP Export Award is among the most prestigious business recognitions in the province.
“This award is presented to the best exporter by exporters,” Dekker said. “The three finalists, representing the diversity of our economy, all exemplify the courage and business acumen required for success in national and international markets.”
