Yorkton's 2022 population, as listed in the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health's statistics was 19,123. Main industries in the area include agriculture, potash mining, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, tourism and health services. Yorkton is the largest city on the Yellowhead Highway (Hwy 16) between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The trading area around Yorkton encompasses east central Saskatchewan and western Manitoba with a population of 150,000 making it the third largest trading area in the province. While the Chamber is one of the oldest entities in the City, having been established in 1898, it's a dynamic organization which represents the interests of the business community.
