Renouf Farms Ltd.'s berry orchard was stared in 2017 and is currently a 30 acre orchard adjacent to the farm northwest of Melfort, Saskatchewan. The focus is on Haskaps - the second highest berry in the world for antioxidants and more vitamin C per 100 grams than the average orange. Haskaps are considered a super fruit in the food industry and knowledgeable customers are looking for its health benefits. They are much higher in vitamins and nutrients than the blueberry and taste like a combination of a blueberry and a raspberry but with a lot more "zing". The orchard also grows Saskatoon berries, sea buckthorn, raspberries and chokecherries.
