In 2006, Seed Hawk sold a minority share in the company to a Swedish agricultural company - Väderstad AB, the largest planting, seeding and tillage manufacturer in Europe. In 2013, Väderstad bought full ownership of Seed Hawk, and in October 2017, the Saskatchewan-based company changed its name to Vaderstad Industries Inc. to align with the global Väderstad Group. Vaderstad Industries strives to manufacture the most grower profitable seeding system in the world and gain the global leadership position in precision seeding systems.
