SaskCanola (est. 1991) and SaskFlax (est. 1996) officially amalgamated into a single organization on August 1, 2024. The newly formed SaskOilseeds will remain a producer-led organization, supported by 17,000 levy-paying Saskatchewan canola growers and 3,000 levy-paying Saskatchewan flax growers. SaskOilseeds’ mandate is to provide value to oilseed growers through research, advocacy, and market development.
