Trade Mission: Saudi Food Show + Second Market
As one of the largest food importers in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia presents numerous opportunities for Saskatchewan companies to showcase their products, network with industry stakeholders, and gain insights into market trends and consumer preferences. The Saudi Food Show is expected to attract over 30,000 industry professionals and feature more than 600 exhibitors from around the globe. The Saudi Food Show also allows exporters to establish valuable connections with potential buyers and partners, facilitating long-term business relationships.
This mission will provide an ideal entry point, especially given that Saudi Arabia imports over 80% of its food needs. The country’s food and beverage market is valued at approximately $42 billion and is expected to grow at a rate of 3% annually until 2030. STEP will work with the Trade Commissioner Service and the Saskatchewan International office located in Saudi Arabia to organize a robust trade mission including a B2B program and site visits with key retailers, logistics hubs, and agri-food partners.
