Trade Mission: Saskatchewan Agricultural Showcase to South Eastern Asia
This business development mission to southeast Asia will showcase Saskatchewan agriculture, agricultural food, and agricultural technology. The mission will visit two major markets in the southeast Asia – the Philippines and Malaysia.
The Philippines is among the top potential markets for Saskatchewan, and both markets are members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). As such, the majority of tariffs have been eliminated or reduced to create great opportunities for the Saskatchewan grain, pulse, special crops, animal feed, and food and beverage sectors.
Supported by the Saskatchewan International Offices in Singapore and Philippines and the Canadian Trade Commissioner Services in these markets, the mission will be a travelling showcase event that will include B2B matching, education seminars, business receptions, tours, and visits.
