Trade Mission: DEFSEC Atlantic 2026

STEP will organize an outgoing trade mission to DEFSEC Atlantic 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where STEP will secure a 10×10 booth to serve as a Saskatchewan presence and meeting hub while developing a combined walker and exhibitor program for participating organizations. STEP will assist Saskatchewan companies and institutions interested in exhibiting by supporting booth selection, coordination with show organizers, and setup/takedown logistics, while also organizing a structured walker itinerary that includes targeted B2B meetings, guided show-floor visits, and networking with defence primes, Tier 1s, and government stakeholders.

Subject to alignment with national defence spending programs tied to the event, STEP may also facilitate a B2B networking social on a cost-recovery basis through sponsorship and/or walker program fees, bringing together defence prime contractors, international buyers, and Saskatchewan stakeholders to advance supply-chain partnerships, Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) opportunities, and export sales in the aerospace, defence, and marine sectors.
