Trade Mission: South America – Agri-Value

Saskatchewan’s exports to Latin America reached a new provincial record of $5.4 billion in 2023, contributing to the province’s total exports of $49.3 billion. It’s important to note that Saskatchewan’s total agri-food exports reached $20.2 billion in 2023, with the main agri-food commodities exported from Saskatchewan being non-durum wheat, canola seed, lentils, canola oil, durum wheat, and dried peas.

This mission will focus on establishing the current business that STEP members have in both markets and offer them the opportunity to increase their sales. The plan is to meet with importers, distributors, millers, and visit local processing plants.
