Introduced in 1999, the STEP Export Award recognizes the export achievements of STEP members. The Award recipient and finalists will receive public recognition, affirmation of business excellence from peers, higher standing with customers, investors and potential employees, as well as province-wide and international acknowledgement!
For more than 20 years, the honour has been awarded to STEP members based on the following criteria:
- The introduction of new products/services into new markets
- A significant increase in export sales
- A high ratio of export sales to total sales
- A positive impact on the community through job creation
Sponsored by Export Development Canada (EDC), the 2024 STEP Export Award was presented at the STEP Annual General Meeting and Member Reception on October 10, 2024 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The winner was announced at the event with delegates and attendees comprised of business exporters, government officials, and international business professionals.
